Pro bono — given, not invoiced

KYN designed and built Net For Hope free of charge. Not a discount — a donation. Every euro the site doesn't spend on design is a euro that reaches the cause.

Net For Hope is a charity badminton tournament started by David Hoang, in memory of his mother, with the Badminton Mâconnais. This edition fights cancer — 100% of profits go to the DUCH association, which funds cancer research. Building the platform for free is our way of standing in the same corner.

The brief[01] Problem

A cause is only as strong as the path to support it. Net For Hope had the events and the merch — but giving, buying and the legal small print lived in three different places.

We brought it together: a single site that tells the cause, sells the merch and takes payment — wired to a checkout that respects French consumer law from cart to confirmation. One front door for everyone who wants to help.

Make supporting the cause as easy as buying a t-shirt.— Product principle
What the client said
Net for Hope meant a great deal to me because it is based on my personal story. Thanks to Florian, the website and online store were launched in record time despite very tight deadlines. He was incredibly efficient and, above all, extremely responsive to all of my requests. I couldn't have asked for a better person to bring this project to life.

What we built[02] One site, end to end
[01]Cause & EventsA landing that leads with the mission — upcoming events, the story behind the charity and clear ways to get involved.
[02]Merch BoutiqueA full storefront for the charity's apparel — browsable catalogue, collections and stock-aware product cards.
[03]Product PagesPer-item detail with size and edition variants — including limited shiny editions — gallery and add-to-cart.
[04]Checkout & PaymentsA frictionless cart-to-payment flow, every purchase feeding the cause directly.
[05]Legal & ComplianceFrench e-commerce obligations done right — right-of-withdrawal (rétractation), terms and data handling baked in.
[06]Content & CMSEditable events, products and pages so the team ships updates without touching code.
